Track Information 
The Curragh Horse racing track is a right-handed horseshoe shaped course with a circuit of two miles with no sharp bends and a straight run in of three furlongs uphill.
The Curragh includes a straight mile course
and
two round courses - plate and Derby.
It is widely recognised as a very fair galloping track.
The Curragh is also home to 54 licenced trainers who
have access to a variety of training facilities, including some of the best grass and all weather gallops in Europe. Leading trainers including Dermot Weld, John Oxx, Michael Grassick, Mick Halford, Kevin Prendergast, Jim Gorman and Con Collins are based at the Curragh.
